Back to School Night
Last night was Back to School Night for ECHS. It was not our normal Back to School Night and we definitely missed seeing everyone in person. Parents, if you missed it, everything was prerecorded and can be viewed at any time. Please click the link to see the slideshow where all the video links are for each teacher. After watching the videos, if you have any questions please email us. We all have time dedicated for office hours each day and we are happy to set up phone or Google Meet appointments.
ECHS Parent Group
I run an ECHS Parent Group that meets once a month. It is open to all ECHS parents to hear about things going on, help plan events, and give feedback. We are going to be meeting virtually for at least the first semester this year. The meeting will take place in a Google Meet on Thursday, September 10th at 6:00pm. Counselor Corner
For my 9th & 10th
grade parent information night on 9/17, I will provide a detailed review of
meeting FSUSD high school graduation requirements and meeting college entrance
requirements. I will also go into detail about how college courses meet these
requirements as well as how students select those college courses.

For my 11th and 12th
grade parent information night on 9/23, I will be completing an interactive UC
and CSU college application demonstration, discuss FAFSA application deadlines,
provide some scholarship information and discuss how to effectively
transition from ECHS to 4-year universities in terms of matriculation of
units completed at SCC.

Special Schedule on 9/8
With Labor Day on Monday we will have a special schedule on Tuesday, 9/8. We will use the same schedule we did on the first three days of school. Some students may have a time conflict due to a required college class meeting. If this is the case, we have asked the students to let their high school teacher know they have to miss class due to the time conflict. They will be excused from their high school class for the day. We will resume our regular distance learning block schedule on Wednesday, 9/9.

School Lunch
Even with Distance Learning school lunches are available. Here is the link for more information in both English and Spanish. Parents can pickup five days worth of meals (lunch and breakfast) per student. The students don't have to be present, but the parents have to provide the student's name and ID#.

Students of the Week
12th grader Jacob Francisco is one of our ECHS students of the week! Jacob is the ECHS Senior Class president, the Student FSUSD Board Member Alternate, President of GenUp Fairfield-Suisun, Key Club CNH Region 9 Division 8 Tech Editor, and one of our elected student leaders representing ECHS at our Superintendent's monthly student meetings.
Jacob has done very well in all his high school courses and has made the honor roll every semester. He has completed 45 college units from SCC and his overall college GPA is 3.78. Way to go Jacob!
11th grader Christopher Knight is also one of our ECHS Students of the Week! Christopher helps out in the community and volunteers through the Jack and Jill organization. He is in Leadership at ECHS and is helping to get the Black Student Union (BSU) started. He also is a member of the RHS tennis team and one of the elected student leaders representing ECHS at our Superintendent's monthly student meetings.
Christopher has done an excellent job in all of his high school classes and has made the honor roll in each of his four semesters so far at ECHS. He has also completed 29 college units at SCC and has earned an A in every college class so far for a 4.0 GPA! Great job Christopher!
