Welcome Back
New School Year
On Monday, July 20, our Governing Board determined that our district will begin in Phase 1. This decision was primarily influenced by the announcements made by Governor Newsom on Friday, July 17. His new guidelines mandate that schools located in counties on California’s Monitoring List must be closed for in-person instruction until their county has been off of the Monitoring List for 14 consecutive days. Solano County is currently on the Monitoring List and expects to remain on the list for an extended period of time.
The school district will stay in Phase 1 until October 16, 2020. On October 8, 2020, the Governing Board will have an opportunity to review the latest information and determine whether or not to change the phase that we are in.
At ECHS we will be 100% online in Phase 1 and Phase 2. Once we get to Phase 3 ECHS students will be able to return to the SCC campus 50% of the time and once we get to Phase 4 we will be able to make a full return with safety precautions.
Solano College has determined the fall semester will be online and hasn't made a determination at this time regarding the spring semester that begins in January 2021.
We will review the class times and specific Distance Learning schedule during orientation with the students.

High School Textbooks
Many of our textbooks and high school class resources will be online. Seniors have no high school textbooks to pick up. Students in grades 9-11 will have materials that need to picked up at school. We have arranged to have drive thru textbook pickup times. We will be in the Solano College parking lot outside of building 300. We will be wearing masks and ask that you wear a mask as well when rolling the window down to get your materials. If you can't make your scheduled time, it is okay to come at a different time within the pickup window, we just want to do our best to limit the amount of people on campus at one time and maintain safe social distancing.

College textbook pickups will take place by appointment only. All books will be provided to the students at no cost and we will do our best to get everyone their books as soon as possible during the first week of college classes.
