Prom 2019

The 11th-12th grade prom took place last Saturday night, April 6th at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.  65 ECHS students and their guests joined approximately 500 RHS students.  The students enjoyed a fun night of dancing!  Next year the prom will be held back at the CA Academy of Sciences.

My Fair Lady

On Thursday, 50 ECHS students got the opportunity to see the SCC production of My Fair Lady.  We want to thank the Fairfield-Suisun and Cordelia Rotary Clubs for the tickets.  The ECHS students joined Fairfield High and Armijo students in the cafeteria after the show.  The students ate lunch together and then were to treated to a Q&A session with the show's cast and crew.  It was extra special to see ECHS alumni, Sheccid Donatt in the show as well as the Q&A session afterwards.

Student of the Year

ECHS 12th grader Weslynn Cedeno was voted the ECHS student of the year.  On Thursday she was honored at the Fairfield-Suisun School District Governing Board meeting as one of the district's students of the month for April.  Weslynn truly represents what the Early College High School program is all about.

Rodchella

Rodchella was a blast after school Friday at Rodriguez High School.  This has become an annual event where musical and dance acts from RHS and ECHS perform.  What a great way to end the week and kick off spring break for our students!

Progress Reports

The grading period ended on Friday, April 12th and the teachers have until the end of the day Monday, April 15th to submit grades.  You will be able to access all your student's progress report grades Tuesday, April 16th.

Challenge Day

We are holding our first ever Challenge Day at ECHS on Friday, April 26 here at Solano College.  60 of our 10th and 11th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in the all day program.  We plan to offer another Challenge Day next school year to give more students an opportunity to go through the program.

Here is a brief description on what Challenge Day is:

The day-long, interactive Challenge Day program provides teens and adults with tools to tear down walls of separation, and inspires them to live, study, and work in an encouraging environment of acceptance, love, and respect. Using highly interactive and energetic activities, our leaders guide participants through a carefully designed exploration of the ways people separate from each other, and model tools for creating connection and building community.

Dress Code

As the weather is getting warmer we are having an increase in dress code violations.  We are on a college campus but we adhere to the FSUSD dress code regulations.  Please ensure that son or daughter is following dress code each day.

Spring Break

I want to wish all the students a wonderful, safe, and restful spring break.  Enjoy the week off with no high school or college classes.  College classes resume on Monday, April 22nd and high school classes resume the following day.  Tuesday, April 23rd we will be on a 6 period high school class schedule.
