September 1st
Rodriguez High School is putting on a College Night for parents on Thursday, Sept. 7th 5:30-6:30pm in the RHS Library. Below is the flyer that was emailed out to students and parents. This is open to all parents including ECHS. I highly suggest parents of 12th grade students consider attending. There will be information on college applications, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
Both Early College and Rodriguez High School will not be giving the PSAT during the school day this year. However, I do encourage all 10th and 11th grade students to take the PSAT. We are offering it on Saturday, Oct. 14, in the morning at Rodriguez High School. The cost will be $20 and the test will go on sale beginning Sept. 11th. We will be sending out more information, but if you are interested in taking the PSAT save the date of Oct. 14th. Below is a link for more PSAT information and practice opportunities.

This week, here during lunch, many of the ECHS students participated in the Solano Community College Club Rush. So many students are getting involved in both our high school clubs as well as the college clubs.
As I posted last week, Early College doesn't have a traditional back-to-school night but we are excited to talk to parents about the amazing things that are taking place here. We hope you are able to join us for our Parent Nights that are held at Rodriguez High Library.
Please remember if you have any questions or concerns, you can reach me by phone or email. School counselor, Mae Valles, and I are happy to set up appointments to go over individual academic plans with students and parents.
I hope everybody has a fun and safe Labor Day weekend! There are no high school or college classes Monday. Please remember we are on the Friday Bell Schedule when we return on Tuesday 9/5/17.
