9th Grade Support

We held our Virtual 9th Grade Parent Support Night last night.  Our message for all students and parents, is that there is still time to to improve grades in both high school and college courses.  This has been a challenging year, but we are here to support all students.

If there are students who are struggling in the their college class and feel they are in danger of failing this semester, Ms. Mae and I would like to meet with you right away next week or the week after.  The last day to drop a college class with a W withdrawal is April 1st.  Please do not drop a class without meeting with us first.

A recording of the meeting is available via the link provided below. The meeting included presentations from our ECHS English, Math, College Readiness, and Science teachers as well as from our School Counselor.  If you have any questions or would like to set up a meeting, please email me at johnpi@fsusd.org.

Senior Spotlights

We are so proud of the progress that Avanish Saini has made at ECHS!  Avi has successfully completed more than 40 college units from Solano College.  In previous years, he played for the RHS football team and worked throughout high school at McDonalds.  This year Avi has earned an A or B in all of his classes and just got hired at Safeway.  Avi plans to continue working and going to Solano College next year with plans to transfer to a four-year university to major in Computer Science.  Great job Avi!

Arianna Akbari has done an excellent job at ECHS! She has maintained a GPA above 4.0 every semester since sophomore year. In addition to school, Arianna has worked at both Subway and Hollister since sophomore year, and worked as an agency graphic designer during the summer of her junior year. She is currently working on a small beauty brand that will be launching soon, Spice Beauty. (@spicebeauty on Instagram). Arianna has volunteered at Northbay Medical Center and the Food Bank of CC/Solano for over 300 hours collectively. Arianna is on track to complete 3 AA degrees from SCC in General Science, Biomedical Science, and Liberal Studies. She plans to continue at Solano then transfer to a UC. Great job Arianna!

Ethan Krier organized a 5k run, that due to Covid, is taking place virtually.  He is raising money in support of the Wounded Warrior Project.  If you would like to donate in support of Ethan's Senior Project and the Wounded Warrior Project please click the link below.
