New Semester
The Spring 2020 semester started Monday and the students returned back after their 3 week winter break. We welcomed three new students to ECHS and got off to a great start! The majority of students have already received their college textbooks and many of the books that were ordered will be in Tuesday or Wednesday. If students have not come by the office to request their college books, they need to come by during a break, second half of lunch, or after school so we can get them ordered asap.
There is no school Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Tuesday we return on a 1,3,5,2,4,6 Friday schedule for high school classes. *Students with college classes that conflict with a high school class on Tuesday just need to notify their high school teacher and then attend their college class.

Open House
Tuesday we held our Open House event after school. 8th grade students and families came for a tour of the campus and to get some final information about the ECHS program before deciding whether to apply for fall enrollment. We will be accepting applications for next school year from Jan. 21- Feb. 5. I want to thank the student tour guides, ECHS staff, ECHS parent group members, and even the alumni students that came back to help with this event, your support of our program is truly appreciated.

Salvation Army
On Friday, Major Randy Hartt from the Salvation Army came to campus to bring lunch as a thank you to the students and staff that participated in the Ringing the Bells event. ECHS has won the bell ringing competition now for 4 years in a row! Major Randy Hartt talked to the students about how the money raised will be used to support those in need in our community.
