With there being no school on Monday for Veteran's Day, we will be on a six period schedule Tuesday. 3rd Period 9:00-9:50
5th Period 10:00-10:50
2nd Period 11:00-11:50
4th Period 1:00-1:50
6th Period 2:00-2:50
College Field Trip
The ECHS 11th grade class will be going on a college field trip on Friday, November 30th. The students will visit UC Davis first for a presentation on the UC application process and then take an hour walking tour of the campus. After UC Davis the students will get to take a tour of the Sac State campus.
*Permission slips have been distributed to every 11th grade student and are due back next week.
Improv Show
We had a super funny Improv Fundraiser Show on Thursday. Here are some of the photos from the show. We sure have some talented students here at ECHS!
ECHS Drama Club
The ECHS Drama Club went to the SCC production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. We really appreciate the Fairfield-Suisun and Cordelia Rotary Clubs for providing the tickets. Mr. Voyce and the students reported that they really enjoyed the show and thought the acting was amazing!
Special Admissions Form
The special admission forms are due Thursday next week to CR teachers. Parents if you signed the form before the classes were added we are sending it back for new initials. We want to make sure you are approving each of the course requests. Ms. Mae and I will be going over the forms, signing them, and submitting the forms once they are completely filled out.
8th grade Information Nights
We are already recruiting next year's 9th grade class. If you know anyone who has an 8th grade son or daughter who may be interested in ECHS, please share with them our information night dates. Both sessions will feature the same presentation so people can choose the night that fits their schedule.
Art Show/Friendsgiving
The students organized a Friendsgiving event after school today. The students brought in canned food to donate to the Contra Costa Food Bank and enjoyed a meal together in the cafeteria. The Art Club also displayed their work for everyone to enjoy. Here is some of the artwork that was displayed.
