School Pictures
RHS school pictures are taking place February 8-11. School pictures are optional this year. Students who come and take a school picture will get a RHS ID card and the photo taken will be in the RHS yearbook. A email with an optional link to purchase photos will be sent afterward.
*Students that don't come in to take a school photo will have an option at a later date to send in a photo that they would like in the RHS yearbook, on an ID card, and in the ECHS magazine.

Solano College Tutoring
Even through Distance Learning there is a lot of support for students with their college classes. Don't be afraid to reach out. Our most successful students seek out college tutoring when they need some extra help. If you aren't sure how to access these free resources, please ask Mrs. Mae, your CR teacher, or call or email directly and I can help you out.
Here is the website for Solano College tutoring information for your college course: http://www.solano.edu/ academic_success_center/
Also a guide for access: http://www.solano.edu/ academic_success_center/forms/ NetTutor%20Student%20User% 20Guide.pdf
ECHS Peer Tutors
In addition to the support that Solano College is offering for help with college classes, we have set up our own Peer Tutoring to help ECHS students who would like extra support with either high school or college work. Mrs. Mae has three sessions every Friday from 10:00-11:00, 1:00-2:00, and 2:00-3:00. Mrs. Mae is available during the sessions to answer questions and help students. She also opens and monitors breakout rooms for students to get help from one of our wonderful peer tutors.
Here is a list of our tutors and the subjects with which they are able to support students. We will also add more tutors if there is an increase in demand.
*Starting next week we will be adding a second day for Peer-Tutoring support. Mrs. Mae will also open up a session every Wednesday from 3:00-4:00. Students please check your student emails for more information from Mrs. Mae on Monday and there will be a link to sign up for tutoring and to request help in a specific subject.
RHS Athletics
More information will be coming out very soon in regards to high school sports. As of next week on Monday the only sport that is conditioning is JV Football. This may change very soon as other sports will start conditioning and may move into season soon. If you are interested in high school sports at RHS please pay attention to the student bulletin as new information will be posted there. In preparation, you will want to make sure you have a current physical ready to submit. If you have any sports questions, please contact the RHS Athletic Director Tracy Cordes at tracyc@fsusd.org.
Here is a slide from the board meeting last night on which sports can start in each tier. Solano County is still in the Purple tier at this time.
* Athletic Director Tracy Cordes also posts sports updates to Facebook at www.facebook.com/rodriguezhigh
ECHS Teacher of the Year
This year our teacher of the year is Karen Smith! Mrs. Smith has been with the Early College program since it started back in 2014 and prior to that she taught at Rodriguez High School. Mrs. Smith is well liked and respected by colleagues as well as the ECHS students. She has high expectations for all students and spends a lot of time planning each of her lessons to make sure they meet the needs of all her students. Mrs. Smith is a huge part of why the ECHS program has been so successful. Mrs. Smith's students leave her class after their 11th grade year ready to pass college English and beyond! Congratulations Mrs. Smith!
