ECHS will be participating in the Trunk or Treat event on Monday, Oct. 30th.  We are still collecting candy donations to hand out to children.  If you are able to donate some candy, please send it to school Monday.  Homecoming was a blast last Friday!  Many of the ECHS students attended the football game last Friday and some even participated in the skits.  The senior class was awarded best skit. Saturday was the homecoming dance and we had approximately 100 ECHS students attend.  There were over 500 students in the Multi-Purpose room at Rodriguez.  It was a pleasure seeing the students dressed up and having a good time. Monday I had the privilege of spending some time in one of the 10th grade College Readiness classes.  Students worked together in tutorial groups.  ECHS students work collaboratively and help each other out with their high school and college work.   ...

Senior Pitches have begun!   7 of the Seniors presented their Senior Project plans today and they were great!  We heard about building a robot to help the blind, cleaning up a creek, volunteering in a hospital NICU, teaching little kids about science and doing experiments with them, starting a peer support group on campus, educating people about what food banks need and helping people in need with nutrition, participating in a fire academy and working with children on fire safety.  Jewel, Trinity, Joel H., Jaski, Nikki, Olivia, and Macen really set the bar high!  I can't wait to hear what the other senior students have been planning.   Today Ms. Kandahari joined the panel to hear the pitches.  We are looking for other interested parents to participate.  If you are able to attend one of the sessions and help give students feedback on their pitches, please let me know. Next week the pitches take place Monday 1:00-3:00, Wednesday 1:00...

School is set to resume on Monday, October 16 for Early College and Solano Community College.     The PSAT that was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14 has been cancelled.  We are working on a plan to offer the PSAT at Early College from 8:00-12:00 on Wednesday, Oct. 25th to students that have paid for the test.  Students taking the test will be excused from their high school classes but will have to speak with their college professors if the test time conflicts with a college class.  Refunds will be offered to students that are unable to take the test on Oct. 25th and we may be able to sell a few more tests to students who haven't paid yet.  We will put out more information this upcoming week regarding the PSAT. The Homecoming Game is Friday, October 20th vs Wood.  The JV game starts at 5:00pm and Varsity begins at 7:30pm.  The Homecoming skits will take place during halftime of the Varsity game. The Homecomin...
