Harry Potter Musical

I am so proud of the ECHS students!  The Harry Potter musical the students put on at lunch was well done and super fun.  It was wonderful to see pretty much the entire ECHS student body in the audience. What a fun way to spend the lunch period!  I hope everybody enjoys the long weekend.

Schedule for Tuesday, November 13 With there being no school on Monday for Veteran's Day, we will be on a six period schedule Tuesday.  If this schedule conflicts with a student's college class, they have been asked to attend the college class, but to make sure they have emailed their high school teacher to give them a heads up about their absence. 1st Period 8:00-8:50 3rd Period 9:00-9:50 5th Period 10:00-10:50 2nd Period 11:00-11:50 4th Period 1:00-1:50 6th Period 2:00-2:50 College Field Trip The ECHS 11th grade class will be going on a college field trip on Friday, November 30th.  The students will visit UC Davis first for a presentation on the UC application process and then take an hour walking tour of the campus.  After UC Davis the students will get to take a tour of the Sac State campus. *Permission slips have been distributed to every 11th grade student and are due back next week.   ...

Senior Pitches have begun!   7 of the Seniors presented their Senior Project plans today and they were great!  We heard about building a robot to help the blind, cleaning up a creek, volunteering in a hospital NICU, teaching little kids about science and doing experiments with them, starting a peer support group on campus, educating people about what food banks need and helping people in need with nutrition, participating in a fire academy and working with children on fire safety.  Jewel, Trinity, Joel H., Jaski, Nikki, Olivia, and Macen really set the bar high!  I can't wait to hear what the other senior students have been planning.   Today Ms. Kandahari joined the panel to hear the pitches.  We are looking for other interested parents to participate.  If you are able to attend one of the sessions and help give students feedback on their pitches, please let me know. Senior Awards Ceremony On Wednesday, May 25th, we held a special ceremony to honor the ECHS Class of 2022.  The 63 ECHS seniors are all on track to graduate from Rodriguez High School on June 10th.  The event included student speakers, awards, and the presentation  of an ECHS stole to  every ECHS senior to wear in the upcoming graduation ceremony. We are so proud of the ECHS Class of 2022! SCC Graduation/Car-mencement On Thursday, May 26th, Solano College held a "Car-mencement" graduation ceremony.  19 of our ECHS seniors graduated from Solano College along with many of our ECHS alumni.  Congratulations to all of the SCC graduates! Student Board Member Last night  Dean Ramos,  ECHS 11th grader, was sworn in as the new Student Board Member for the 2022-2023 school year.  Dean joins the FSUSD School Board and will be representing more than 22,000 FSUSD students!  Congratulations Dean!
