Counselor Corner Solano College Reminders!    For Spring 2021, Solano College will no longer offer the COVID EW if you fail a class. T he last day to drop a full-term college course with a "W" is April 2, 2021. So if you are thinking of dropping a course for any reason, please email me or schedule a meeting or drop in during my drop-in hours on Wednesdays at 3pm/Fridays at 10am, 1pm, and 2pm. FSUSD Reopening Decision Thursday, February 11, 2021, the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District's Governing Board voted to return to in-person instruction once Solano County sustains five consecutive days in the Red Tier.   Based on the current trajectory of Solano County's COVID-19 data, it is anticipated that Solano County may sustain five days in the Red Tier by mid-March.  The return to in-person instruction will be a scaffolded, hybrid model.   The anticipated hybrid reopening date for Secondary Schools is April 12, 2021 (following Spring Break).  This is contingent upon the county's ability to sustain five consecutive days in the Red Tier and /or any other additional guidelines issued by the state.  Families will have the option to continue on Distance Learning for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year, if they do not choose to participate in the hybrid model of in-person learning. Presidents' Day There are no high school or college classes and our office will be closed on Friday 2/12 as well as Presidents' Day Monday 2/15.   We return to classes on Tuesday 2/16 on our 6 period day schedule.  Students with time conflicts with their high school and college classes need to let their high school teachers know and attend the college class sessions.   RHS Sports Sports have started back up.  Please see the letter with important information about RHS sports from Principal Isadore (it was shared with all students earlier today). https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y-cfKQ_lFaxCG5LQhH6y9ihWUYIkphTYk8v844GTSbw/edit?usp=sharing Cross Country, Boys Golf, and Girls Tennis start right away.  Other sports are starting conditioning very soon.
